Well, of course! After all, we are in Hollywood land! You didn’t think Mr. Fix It Plumbing was going to miss out on celebrity hood did you? We made our premier on the show Bar Rescue which aired March 24, 2013, on Spike TV. The pretty blondish brunette sitting at the bar is yours truly.
Now that is going to motivate a lot of you to find a reason to come to our offices. Come on down!
The specific bar we worked on for this episode is Lona’s City Limits Cantina (the old Wardlow Station) located at 1174 E. Wardlow Road, Long Beach, California, 90807, 562-427-4630. The owner, Lona Lee, says you should swing by to check out the new and improved premises. Lona is sweet, friendly, and extremely hard working. Mr. Fix It is proud to have been a part of creating something special for her. Lona told us, that when you are there, be sure to tell her you are a friend of Mr. Fix It Plumbing.
After the first airing of the show, the telephone started ringing and hasn’t stopped. “We saw you on TV!” “You guys did a great job!” “Is that Ashley?!” “Wow!” “Can I come over to your offices and tell you about my plumbing problem?”
“Well, if you like sir. Or we could just come out to your house and fix it, like we normally do; whatever you prefer.”
After Mr. Fix It Plumbing’s acting debut, we are quite certain Hollywood will be calling again. The famous actress, Lana Turner, was discovered sitting at the counter at the Top Hat Malt Shop (not Schwab’s Pharmacy, as is commonly believed). Mr. Fix It was discovered underneath a building with dirt all over his face (not with his head under a kitchen sink and his butt crack showing, as is commonly believed). And the rest is Hollywood history!
